Company History
After careers in the oil field and industrial manufacturing businesses, the Calgary based founders of Redstone Custom Door turned their hand to the custom woodworking industry. Early products included furniture, cabinets, architectural woodwork and wood doors. After merging with another shop specializing in wood exterior and patio door products, an alliance was formed with our Salt Lake City based partners who have long careers in the wood, window and door business. Our U.S. presence and western connection provided the sales and marketing expertise needed to expand and refine our clad wood specialty patio doors. Soon, the company focused on custom wood and clad wood sliding and folding doors in a few western states, and wood interior and exterior doors in Canada.

In early 2008, the U.S. company brought in Woodgrain Millwork Inc., an experienced and respected manufacturer of architectural products and components, as a new majority partner. The financial depth and market access of Woodgrain Millwork will provide Redstone Custom Door the resources required to expand our offerings to our existing customers and to add significantly to our geographical footprint.

Quality Without Compromise
Redstone Custom Door is committed to being a responsible environmental citizen and steward of our limited resources. No endangered wood species are used in our products. All hardwoods and processed products using hardwoods are supplied by FSC Chain of Custody Certified suppliers. All softwood components are supplied by FSC Certified mills and suppliers.

Committed to the Environment
Collection programs within our plants ensure that all waste metal products such as aluminum, and steel are sent to appropriate recyclers. In our offices, we try to keep our paper usage to a minimum, and recycle all waste. We do not use any atmospherically hazardous products in our plants, and use only VOC regulation compliant sub-contract coaters. Our parent company Woodgrain Millwork , is an industry leader in environmental issues.
